The legendary Motorhead released their final studio album “Bad Magic” in 2015. To celebrate that iconic album the band has now released the album in an expanded format called “Bad Magic: SERIOUSLY BAD MAGIC” and it’s loaded with incredible material including two unreleased songs, the addition of “Heroes” and an additional live album called “Live at Mt Fuji Rock Festival 2015 – Sayonara Folks!”
I had the chance to sit down and talk with legendary Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell about this new album, his band Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, and of course all things Lemmy.
For having been in the band for 31 years, Phil is completely down to earth and a humble guy to talk with. From reminiscing about meeting Lemmy for the first time at age 12 to becoming the guitarist in the band and walking down the street next to the guy he got an autograph from as a kid, Phil, along with Mikkey Dee, and of course, Lemmy was the real deal when it comes to rock n’ roll.
Listen to my interview with the legendary Phil Campbell below as we discuss the re-vamped, repackaged expanded album of “Bad Magic: SERIOUSLY BAD MAGIC” and more:
