The Official Red Alert band page has posted the following regarding Steve’s untimely passing:
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to let everyone know that Steve Castiron Smith passed away last night. He had been in hospital for the last 6 weeks with a blood infection that caused his whole system to shut down. He was put into an induced coma and never recovered… 💔
His funeral was held in Badalona on Saturday 3rd December at Tanatori de Badalona, Cami del Tanatori, s/n/, 08916 Barcelona
