Ratt is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983, recognized as one of the prominent bands of the 1980s glam metal scene. Led by vocalist Stephen Pearcy, the group fused flashy guitar performances, catchy melodies, and a bold Sunset Strip persona that helped shape the sound and image of L.A. metal during its high point.
Ratt attained significant success with albums such as Out of the Cellar (1984), Invasion of Your Privacy (1985), and Dancing Undercover (1986), which included popular songs like “Round and Round,” “Lay It Down,” and “You’re in Love.”
