Sevendust is one of those bands that I listened to originally from their first album and then somewhere along the way about 2 or 3 albums later I lost track of the band. Shame on me for doing so. The middle and later output by Sevendust is some of their best material.
If you are one of those people who have missed some of Sevendust’s best material, now is your chance to catch up with an incredible box set called Seven of Sevendust. This new box set contains the album’s Next, Alpha, Chapter VII: Hope And Sorrow, Cold Day Memory, Black Out The Sun, Time Travelers, and Bonfires, and Kill The Flaw.
These albums represent the band’s material from the years 2005 through 2015.
The box set comes packaged in a very nice clamshell case with the albums being in digipak cardboard sleeves to resemble that of the original album LPs.
This box set has me really appreciating Sevendust as a band all over again. Sevendust has been very prolific in putting out material for many years and they are one of the hardest-working metal bands that you’re likely to find. If you already had these albums you might find this box set to be a bit disappointing as it will not include any extra or bonus tracks. However, for the fans who did not have these albums originally or would like to collect them at a great price in one fail swoop, this is an excellent bargain.
These albums contain plenty of great songs some of which you probably have never heard before that were not singles but deeper album material that deserve a second listen or a first listen if you have not heard them before. I highly recommend this box set, so go out and get it. Sevendust has released the Seven of Sevendust box set for all of us who’ve missed out on getting these albums. It’s a great way to get a large portion of the band’s discography in one set.
