Hericane Alice singer Bruce Naumann announced the following update regarding his surgery on his official Facebook page:
Hey Everyone! Bruce here.
I just wanted to do a rare check-in here to express my thanks for all of your kind thoughts, concerns, and prayers. I am home and on the mend from the Mayo Clinic after having undergone open heart surgery for a bicuspid aortic valve (family members be aware this is a genetic thing you could have). I walked in without any symptoms and rolled out helpless like a baby. (No diapers needed thank you!)
Despite how it sounds, and thanks to My Daughter Danielle, the Mayo, and being in pretty good shape, I’ve come through with a renewed lust for life!
I”m now 10 days on the mend, with many weeks to go, and I am feeling pretty damn good again thanks to my Daughter Danielle who is taking care of me and preparing gourmet vegan meals and watching me like a hawk.
