D.O.A. Announce Career-Spanning Double Album “Take on the Tyrants”…After 48 years, Vancouver punk trailblazers D.O.A. have amassed a huge catalog, and now they’re treating the world to a mega compilation of their best work.
Take on the Tyrants comes out on May 21 through Sudden Death Records and will be available in two formats: a double LP vinyl edition with 33 tracks, and a single-CD pressing with 30 tracks.
The band has released more than 18 albums and played around 4,500 shows, so this is just a small sampling of their work… But it’s a non-stop barrage of punk rock mayhem and crazy fun.
In related D.O.A. news, the documentary film Something Better Change, directed by Scott Crawford about frontman Joe Keithley’s activism and election into political office, debuted online this week (April 7). It’s available to rent on Prime Video, among other services.
