Warlock is a heavy metal band from Germany, founded in 1982 in Düsseldorf by musicians from the underground scene, including Snakebite and Beast. They gained prominence in the mid-1980s with their vibrant Euro-metal sound, largely due to vocalist Doro Pesch’s stage presence. Their albums, like *Burning the Witches* (1984) and *Hellbound* (1985), received critical acclaim and a loyal fan following. They toured with iconic acts such as Judas Priest and Dio, boosting their fame. By the late ’80s, Doro became the sole original member, and the band shifted to the name Doro. Since 2003, they have occasionally reunited for special events, marking their lasting impact on the European metal scene.
