I recently became introduced to Xentrifuge’s music after hearing some audio snippets on a social media site.  I really like what I heard and decided to reach out to the band for a promo of their latest album “Desensitized Parallels”.  With menacing vocals and crushing beats,  I am reminded of bands like Frontline Assembly, Skinny Puppy and other great industrial bands of the late ’80s and early ’90s.  Xentrifuge has done everything right with this album release.  At times terrifying and brutally relentless, while at others subtle and suspenseful, “Desensitized Parallels” is a modern-day masterpiece of electronic terror with danceable beats.  Standout tracks for me are “Encrypted Visions”,  “Circles Of Dust” “NME” and “Desensitized Parallels”.  However, the entire album is brilliant from beginning to end.  While many other bands in this genre seem to be trying to find their niche’, Xentrifuge knows exactly who they are and their sound is a manifestation of their artistic vision.  This album is both hypnotizing and thought-provoking with its ethereal sounds. Xentrifuge exudes a type of musical maturity that many artists strive for throughout their entire career.  The band is currently working on a follow-up release to be released in the near future and I, for one, can’t wait to hear more from this incredible band.
