Unreleased Van Halen Album Coming Out…An unfinished Van Halen album recorded before Eddie Van Halen’s untimely death, featuring Eddie, Alex, and Wolfgang, is currently being finished in the studio by Alex Van Halen, with help on the project from Toto’s Steve Lukather, who was best friends with Edward. Lukather will not be playing on the album, according to Alex Van Halen.
It sounds like neither David Lee Roth nor Sammy Hagar will be providing vocals for the album. Apparently, Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company) was asked at some point to participate but was unable to do so.
No word at this time on who will handle the vocals on the album.
