It was the biggest-selling album of 1976, selling well over 8 million copies and charting at the #1 album slot for 10 weeks. It featured the hit singles “Do You Feel Like We Do,” “Baby, I Love Your Way,” and “Show Me the Way.” Before this album’s release, Frampton had released four studio albums, with only one of them charting above the top 100 mark.

Sammy Hagar Released The Album Standing Hampton on January 6th, 1982
Sammy Hagar released his 6th solo album, Standing Hampton, declaring that there’s only one way to rock. While we disagree and think there are many ways to rock, Sammy got his first big-selling solo album with this one, which would go Platinum in sales.
