The Cure Bassist Simon Gallup Leaves Band After 40 Years

On his personal Facebook page Gallup posted the following:

“With a slightly heavy heart I am no longer a member of the Cure! Good luck to them all,” When questioned about the decision he wrote that he’s “fed up of betrayal”.

At this time, neither The Cure as a band nor singer Robert Smith has issued any kind of statement about Gallups departure.
