Ace Frehley (born Paul Daniel Frehley on April 27, 1951) is the founding lead guitarist of KISS, known for his “Spaceman” persona and influential hard-rock sound. He was active in the band from 1973 to 1982 and again from 1996 to 2002, recognized for his melodic guitar playing and dynamic live performances. Frehley’s 1978 solo album achieved platinum status, and he later formed Frehley’s Comet. He released a solo album titled 10,000 Volts in 2024 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of KISS in 2014.
