Electro Industrial Pioneers Skinny Puppy co-founder Cevin Key has issued the following news regarding his recurrence of cancer:
“Hi Guys. So this week I have been at the doctor getting a Biopsy on a suspicious lump on my face. It has once again come back as BASAL CELL. Its pretty much border to the same area as I have gone through before. It isn’t a topical Cancer now. So they really can’t say how large it may be. That’s my fear here. It is close to my eye and that’s my biggest concern. First I have to meet with MOHs surgeon Dr Streams, the same as last time 9 years ago, but perhaps the most comforting is that my surgeon from last time is also still there. I breathed a sigh of relief knowing Dr Aimes is still there. She really helped me last time in recovery and rebuilding. This time Ill be able to give her a BASAL. Im not sure exactly when my surgery will be, but it will be soon. Im praying it hasnt extended into areas that will require me to have a forehead flap as last time. That was extremely challenging. Im sure you can understand how scary this can be. I have a massive needle phobia, and all the work is in my face. Its honestly my biggest challenge Ive faced now 2 times previously. Id like to thank you guys for always being so supportive here. This community here has really been something that truly makes me happy. I need this week to prepare my mind and get a attack plan going. Ill also keep you posted on things. I hope to be back next week and take it day by day. Love to you .. my friends
