Scorpions Guitarist Matthias Jabs Has Accident That Requires Surgery And Rehab, Band Cancels Remaining Tour Dates

The legendary rock band The Scorpions has to cancel the remaining tour dates due to an undisclosed injury to guitarist Matthias Jabs. The band posted the following regarding the incident:
SCORPIONS cancel Germany dates in September 2024
Munich, 22. August. The SCORPIONS must cancel all upcoming Germany dates in September 2024 due to an injury by Matthias Jabs. Matthias Jabs’ injury requires surgery and subsequent rehabilitation.
The following concerts are affected:
• 11.09.2024 Nürnberg / ARENA NÜRNBERGER Versicherung
• 13.09.2024 Hamburg / Barclays Arena
• 15.09.2024 Leipzig / QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA
• 18.09.2024 Cologne / LANXESS arena
• 20.09.2024 Frankfurt / Festhalle
The cancellation hits the band hard, as they were on the finish line of their “Love At First Sting” world tour. She deeply regrets this decision and apologizes to the more than 40,000 fans who have already purchased tickets, as well as to the organizers.
