Formed in 1981, Savage Grace was never a band that was mentioned alongside 80s metal bands like Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Ratt, Quiet Riot, etc. But, the band has just released their first album in 37 years, Sign Of The Cross out now on Massacre Records and it will simply blow you away if you’re a fan of classic heavy metal. New vocalist, Gabriel Colon (Lynch Mob), at times, sounds reminiscent of the legendary Rob Halford of Judas Priest. The sound, the look of the band, and everything in between screams 1980s in-your-face metal! The album kicks off with the blazing song “Barbarians At The Gate”, and is followed up by the early Judas Priest-sounding track “Automoton”. Other great tracks include “Rendezvous”, : Stealin’ My Heart Away” and “Star Crossed Lovers”, but the entire album is all killer and has absolutely no filler!
