XS ROCK: Tell me about the latest band news? Any new projects coming out, live shows or announcements?
Roxxi Dott: We just filmed our 2nd video this past weekend… It’s a Depeche Mode Cover song… “People are People.”
Our DP Muck Sticky and Ricky flew in from Memphis and our behind the scenes video and photographers “Tour Bus Live” from LA kicked serious ass.. We had models and makeup off the chains and I went ape shit as I always do creating shock value content to an over mundane world.
XS ROCK: So how long has the band been together?
Roxxi Dott: 1 week…hence me and Mr. X… that was established last April 2019.
XS ROCK: What was your main motivation for originally starting or being in a band?
Roxxi Dott: Work is for Jerks… never sell your soul to the man.
XS ROCK: What is your music background?
Roxxi Dott: I’m a third-generation bass player in my family… Grandpa was Cliff Japhet who originated HILLBILLY MUSIC in 1928.. pops played with Joey D and the Starlighters and my mom was an original cage dancer in the ’60s for James Brown and the Beach Boys. I’m the product of… Chick Vicious.
XS ROCK: What image do you think your music conveys?
Roxxi Dott: A wild shock Mind Fuckery. A total Rock N Roll necessity going into 2020. People need that old thing back.. 1990’s originality today.
XS ROCK: What are your current music career goals?
Roxxi Dott: Shelving myself… Burying my music… Hiding from the world…
What a stupid question. You answer it.
XS ROCK: Well, Actually the question was more directed at how do you intend to reach your goals, but since it sounds like you have no goals or plan in place, I guess we’ll just wait and see how that works out for you. Ha Ha Ha
XS ROCK: Which do you prefer? Writing new songs and recording or playing for a live audience?
Roxxi Dott: Live shows are drugs to me… I like to gyrate my bass on stage and get you off. hahaha

XS ROCK: What are your songs’ lyrics about?

Roxxi Dott: Bitches Booze and your dad.
XS ROCK: What is the single most important thing to you as a musician?
Roxxi Dott: being 100 percent myself.
XS ROCK: Do you have any outrageous tour stories from the road?
Roxxi Dott: Destroying my tour bus after our 1st show because my singer decided to go weird Christian 1st day of the tour. Fuck that..do that shit on your own time… I walk God’s path and I do put him 1st but I’m not weird religious bringing handlers and husbands on my fkn bus uninvited!!! Fuck That!
XS ROCK: What’s the strangest request that you’ve ever received from one of your fans?
Roxxi Dott: Getting down with Bad Dad and his Son e Son Sonns… I’m not into Utah shit.
XS ROCK: Are your friends and family supportive of your choice to play in a rock band?
Roxxi Dott: Hahaha, my mom is my #1 fan and best friend.. She always told me to follow my dreams and fuck the masses.. Margaret Villegas is always front row no matter what!!! My childhood friend since age 10…
