Q & A With Bryan From Feudale

Q & A With Feudale
XS ROCK: Tell me about the latest band news? Any new projects coming out, live shows or announcements?
Bryan Feudale: Well we are very excited about the release of our single “Teenager” With TLG/INgrooves music. We do plan to release more music in 2020, As well as hit the road and do some live shows, All we can say is stay tuned!

XS ROCK: So how long has the band been together?
Bryan Feudale: We have been playing together for about 15 years, what started as a hobby turned into a full-time passion for writing and playing music.

XS ROCK: What was your main motivation for originally starting or being in a band?
Bryan Feudale: we just wanted to have fun and write great music, We never really wanted to have just one sound we just wanted to make good music!

XS ROCK: What is your music background?
Bryan Feudale: That is a tough one being as we listen to so many different styles of music from blues, jazz, rock, oldies, hip hop, R&B. we love pretty much all types of music.

XS ROCK: What image do you think your music conveys?
Bryan Feudale: We hope to inspire! but I like to think we paint a wide range of thoughts and emotions.

XS ROCK: What are your current music career goals?
Bryan Feudale: We would love to be on the road full time as well as make as many records as we can!

XS ROCK: Which do you prefer? Writing new songs and recording or playing for a live audience?
Bryan Feudale: That is tough, There is definitely a charm about both. In the studio you really get to be creative, try different things. Although live you capture the energy that the audience and the band are putting out into the universe it really is the best high you can get.
XS ROCK: What are your songs’ lyrics about? (What specific themes do they cover?)

Bryan Feudale: We tend to write about personal experiences, how we got through them, Also we aim to send a positive message that you can do or be anything you want to be.

XS ROCK: What is the single most important thing to you as a musician?
Bryan Feudale: Owning the rights to our music and creative process for sure!

XS ROCK: Do you have any outrageous tour stories from the road?
Bryan Feudale: There was a night we were playing a show, We had a pretty decent crowd that was there just to see us. As it turns out the opening bands knew the sound guy and he let them play ridiculously long sets. By the time we took the stage, we were only allowed to perform two songs out of our entire set. Needless to say, I may have lost my temper and had the whole crowd screaming **** the venue we were playing. I got pulled off stage by my shirt and dragged into the kitchen. I will leave it at that…

XS ROCK: What’s the strangest request that you’ve ever received from one of your fans?
Bryan Feudale: We got asked to play “put the lime in the coconut” by a very drunk fan, We had never played this song before so we told him, hey if we figure this out you have to sing it! It was a blast and the crowd loved it.

XS ROCK: Are your friends and family supportive of your choice to play in a rock band?
Bryan Feudale: Yes we have the best family and friends ever! Especially our significant others, and of course our mom and dad!

XS ROCK: What advice do you have for new bands trying to get started?
Bryan Feudale: Just stay true, don’t feel pressured to change and always make the music you want to make because you love it!!

XS ROCK: What are your favorite tracks to play live?
Bryan Feudale: Teenager, Gasoline Alley, Green Envy, Nothing to Hide.

XS ROCK: Which band or artist inspired you to perform? Why?
Bryan Feudale: Nirvana! The first time we heard Nirvana we were blown away.

XS ROCK: If you could design a dream tour for your band, who would be on the bill?
FEUDALE, The Foo Fighters, Paul Mccartney, Ozzy Osbourne

XS ROCK: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far?
Bryan Feudale: The best is yet to come! although I will say we are very proud of the music we have recorded so far.

XS ROCK: If you weren’t performing in a band what kind of career do you think you would have?
Bryan Feudale: Who knows! it’s hard to say, I have always been a big talker and a people person so probably some sort of sales position, Mike would probably be working with his hands as he loves to fix cars, And Dave is adaptable so really anything he chose.

XS ROCK: What type of equipment do you use for live shows?
Bryan Feudale: Fender guitars & Basses, Fender amplifiers as well, Tama drums. Sabian and Zildjian cymbals.

XS ROCK: What do you think of the current music scene?
Bryan Feudale: I think that there is a lot of great stuff out there, The problem is you really have to search for it.

XS ROCK: For anyone that doesn’t know you, what would they be surprised to know about you?
Bryan Feudale: We really are all brothers hence the name FEUDALE
