Q & A With Bravo Delta

Q & A With Bravo Delta

XS ROCK: Tell me about the latest band news? Any new projects coming out, live shows or announcements?

Brandon: We have a new album, our first full length, coming out February 1st, 2019. This album is three years in the making and features our best material yet. The meaning behind Unbreakable is about struggling and getting kicked to the ground, finding the will to get up and fight, and learning from those experiences. The first single (and title track) is already on all streaming services and stores, and the official video is on our Youtube channel.

XS ROCK: How long has the band been together?

Brandon: Coming up on 7 years.

XS ROCK: What was your main motivation for starting or being in a band?

Brandon: To be able to create. To share ideas, open minds, and leave a positive legacy on this planet.

XS ROCK: Which do you prefer? Writing new songs and recording or playing for a live audience?

Brandon: Playing for a live audience. To be able to connect with people, like, REALLY connect with another human being and share an experience…is something incredibly special.

XS ROCK: Do you have any outrageous tour stories from the road?

Brandon: Nothing “outrageous” so to speak. We’re pretty low key. We did trade shirts with Nothing More on a tour once.

XS ROCK: What’s the strangest request that you’ve ever received from one of your fans?

Brandon: To write a song for their girlfriend/boyfriend.

XS ROCK: Were your parents supportive of your aspirations to play in a rock band?

Brandon: Yeah, we’ve all got some awesome parents to be thankful for.

XS ROCK: What are your favorite tracks to play live?

Brandon: I think collectively our favorite song to play live right now is called Insignificant. It’s a bit heavier and has a sick breakdown at the end we all get really in to.

XS ROCK: Which band or artist inspired you to perform? Why?

Brandon: I can’t speak for everyone else in the band, but the bands that inspired me as a kid in the 90’s was Soundgarden, Tool, and Incubus. These bands told stories, were socially conscious, and kicked major ass. They were really creative with their music and put a lot of passion and emotion behind it.

XS ROCK: If you could design a dream tour for your band, who would be on the bill?

Brandon: Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Stone Sour, and us.

Q & A With Bravo DeltaXS ROCK: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far?

Brandon: Creating this new album. It’s our best material yet.

XS ROCK: If you weren’t performing in a band what kind of career do you think you would have?

Brandon: I’m a website designer…so yeah I’d continue on with that.

XS ROCK: What type of equipment do you use for live shows?

Brandon: I currently play Schecter Guitars & Peavey Amps. Andy plays Ibanez guitars & Engl Amps. Roman plays Fender bass & Carvin Amps. Brian plays Yamaha drums & Sabian Cymbals.

XS ROCK: What do you think of the current music scene?

Brandon: I think 2019 is going to be a big year for Rock. TONS of new releases scheduled, and even the Grammys recognizing bands like Nothing More, Mastodon, and Halestorm. I feel there’s a societal shift happening as people are craving less electronics, samples, etc.. and more raw natural sounds.

XS ROCK: For anyone that doesn’t know you, what would they be surprised to know about you?

Brandon: I’m 6’4”. Literally the first thing anyone says when they meet me is “damn, you’re tall”.

XS ROCK: If someone had never heard you before, how would you describe your sound?

Brandon: Melodic hard rock with socially conscious lyrics.

XS ROCK: Is there anything that you’d like to promote or say to your fans out there?

Brandon: Get our new album on February 1st! Stream the new single, and watch the new video.
