Chicago’s own Louis Svitek, the renowned guitarist behind legendary bands like Ministry, M.O.D., Mindfunk, and Pigface, is back with a powerhouse new project—Sviteknology. Combining raw energy, seasoned musicianship, and hard-hitting riffs, Sviteknology carves out a fresh yet familiar sonic landscape for rock and metal fans.
Joining Svitek in this hard rock revival is Ryan McGuire, his label partner and thunderous force behind the drums, drummer for BigFoot Sex Slave and T.V.G “The Virginia Gentlemen”. Adding even more firepower to the lineup are Del Williamson, the commanding vocalist from Mayhem Inc., and Troy Gourley, the groove-driven bassist from Marz, 2 Stone City, Dead Nuggets Dish. Together, they bring a relentless, high-energy sound built for the stage and the speakers.
Sviteknology’s latest single, “The People vs,” is now available on all major streaming platforms. Fusing gritty, punk-infused guitar work with pounding rhythms and soaring vocals, the track delivers a visceral listening experience that fans of hard rock and heavy music won’t want to miss.
“I think I first came across Louis’s guitar playing when he was with Mindfunk and then of course Ministry – he is all about the guitar and it shows in this song – man! A lifetime mastering it and a great anthemic song that’s going to to be in my head for a while now. Boom!” – Martin Atkins ,(Drummer, Public Image Ltd, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Pigface, Killing Joke)
“As a long time fan of music, I understand how almost impossible it is to create new music that pays the right amount of respect for influences that came before. Too much nostalgia makes it seem small and too little acknowledgement can make it seem tone deaf. THIS song rides the razor’s edge of those landmines PERFECTLY!!! This single is fucking amazing, you hear the great anthems and statement songs from the past, but this thing is a s current as today’s headlines, where the feeling is coming from. This song dances a rock tightrope that is so rare as to be almost non existent. This is a thing of fucking beauty. The song we all needed, and no one else had the balls to make.” – Steve Silver, Author This Might Hurt A Bit
