Norway’s legend CADAVER revisited unreleased material that offers a fascinating glimpse into the band’s formative years. this is a raw and powerful chapter of CADAVER’s history, demonstrating once again that they were never just a typical death metal band, but consistently pushing the envelope of what extreme music can achieve.

CADAVER ’s long-lost beast, Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic, finally claws its way into the light—begun in 1993, finished in 2024, and seething with three decades of buried rage. Anders Odden (guitar/vocals) and Ole Bjerkebakke (drums/vocals), the original architects of sonic chaos, reunite to unleash this long-brewing storm together with Eilert Solstad (double bass). Raw, relentless, and disturbingly prophetic, this track proves that madness only festers stronger with time.

The painting is owned by Martha Delzell Memorial Fund.

CADAVER was formed in 1988 by Anders Odden and Ole Bjerkebakke. Their first full-length, ‘Hallucinating Anxiety’ (1990), was the first Norwegian death metal album. CADAVER  have had a rather turbulent history as they have disbanded and reunited on several occasions throughout the years. 

Between 1999-2001 the group was also briefly known as Cadaver Inc. Founding member and primary songwriter Anders Odden is the only member that has been in band’s all line-ups.TRACKLISTING:
