Keith Levene Founding Member Of The Clash And Public Image Ltd Dead At 65

Keith Levene who was a founding member of The Clash and Public Image Ltd and Flowers of Romance died yesterday, November 11, 2022, at 65. His cause of death is unknown at this time. Fellow band members and friends have been posting tributes to Levene throughout the day.

Although the guitarist and songwriter left The Clash before their debut album he was responsible for recruiting Joe Strummer to the band.

Levene was instrumental in the formation of PIL but left after three albums over creative differences.
