Janet Jackson To Receive AMA Icon Award And Perform On TV For First Time In 7 Years

Mark your calendars for Memorial Day, May 26th, 2025, when the AMA Awards will honor Janet Jackson with the prestigious Icon Award. Not only will Jackson receive the award, but she will also perform live for a television audience for the first time since 2018. Jackson is only the third person to receive the Icon Award, which honors artists who have made an impact on both the music industry and culture. The two previous recipients were Lionel Richie and Rihanna.

The ceremony will kick off live from Fontainebleau Las Vegas at 8 pm EST. This will be the 51st year of the American Music Awards Ceremony.
