Gorillaz Video Pays Tribute To Classic Animation…Fans of classic animation like Disney’s The Jungle Book, Robin Hood, and more will see a lot of inspiration and homage to those classic movies in the Gorillaz latest music video for “The Mountain, The Moon Cave And The Sad God.” More than just a normal music video, it’s a full animated short, clocking in at over 8 minutes long.
Gorillaz have a new album out, simply entitled “The Mountain”. The Mountain is Gorillaz’s ninth studio album, a collection of 15 new tracks featuring a stellar list of artists and collaborators. Jamie Hewlett’s album artwork captures the four much-loved animated band members – Murdoc, Noodle, Russel, and 2D – in a series of beautifully intricate, hand-drawn illustrations.
