We must start out by saying we have only the hugest respect for the band Blondie, and especially Debbie Harry who has influenced and inspired our band tremendously. Ok, here’s what we know right now and are allowed to announce publicly until further notice.

Blondie will soon release its 11th studio album Pollinator on May 5th and is about to hit the road in Australia to co-headline a tour with fellow New York icon, Cyndi Lauper.

Due to Chris Stein (founding member/guitarist) past health issues, he can commit only to a select amount of shows and then he is retiring from touring on July 4th at a hometown show in New York City celebrating the career and music of the CBGB legends. Because he and Debbie Harry have been so close through the decades, she has decided to decline performing on stage if Stein is not present and she will also stop touring after the July 4th show. At 71, Debbie Harry was, and always will be, the Queen of Punk.

On August 10th in London, Isis Queen and Cheetah Chrome will respectively fill in for both Debbie Harry and Chris Stein and finish out the remaining thirty two shows, as planned, ending the tour in Basel, Switzerland.

This is all the information we have at this time. As soon as Blondie’s press agent releases more news on Monday, we will also update you here with website links and more.
