“‘Doom or Die’ was a particularly fun song to write,” says singer, songwriter, and frontwoman Larissa Vale. “I wanted to go in a completely different direction and write a party song for the end of the world! In a way it’s like assuming an alter ego and getting to explore a concept from an entirely new angle that functions outside of mundane reality.”

The video was shot in the Nevada desert’s scorching heat. “We shot the video in Las Vegas, which was our first time doing a video on the west coast,” says Vale. “Conveniently enough, we didn’t have to pretend to appear stranded in the middle of the desert. We really did feel like we were fighting for our lives in the middle of summer in Vegas, which in hindsight, probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do!”
