Frontman and vocalist for hard rockers Black N’ Blue, Jaime St. James, has made the following statement on his official Facebook Page regarding his cancer diagnosis:
On January 27th, I was grateful to be 66 years old. I thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday.
In September of 2023 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was high risk. For those who know, Gleason score of 8 and PSA at 76.
I did 9 weeks of radiation, 2 months of oral chemotherapy, and over 2 years of hormone therapy injections. No testosterone in my body.
Any show I have done has been accomplished through sheer willpower. I did my last injection 1 week ago. I have my wife by my side. I’m done with this. 5 years to find out if I’m cured. Wish me luck. Let’s Rock.
