Rolo Tomassi Blows People’s Minds With New Song “Tempest”…UK progressive metal outfit Rolo Tomassi have unveiled a sparse yet striking new video for “Tempest,” a standout track taken from their recently released In The Echoes of All Dreams EP. The EP further expanded Rolo Tomassi’s boundary-pushing sound, weaving together elements of post-hardcore, metal, and ambient experimentation.
The band says, “We’re pleased to share the video for ‘Tempest’ alongside the vinyl release of our EP In The Echoes Of All Dreams. We can’t wait to be back out playing some shows this summer and move forward with this new material, having enjoyed our 20th anniversary celebrations in 2025. Hope to see you at a show!”

Since their 2005 inception in Sheffield, Rolo Tomassi have evolved from math-core prodigies into one of the UK’s most vital progressive forces. For over two decades, they have defied the rigid boundaries of heavy music, weaving a tapestry of sound that is as intellectually demanding as it is emotionally resonant. Prior to the recent EP InThe Echoes of All Dreams, the band released the full-length album, Where Myth Becomes Memory, which served as the final part in an unintended trilogy that began with 2015’s Grievances and continued with 2018’s Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It.
