When was the last time that you heard a new rock band that was so damn good, you just wanted to call of your friends and tell them about it? Well, that’s exactly how I feel about Sabbath Highway by The Watchers. I mean, this is ridiculously good. I feel like I’m on the forefront of a rock revolution. A new era of heavy music is being unleashed and these guys are going to be the godfathers of this movement. Starting with the sonic blast of the title track, Sabbath Highway….I simply had my mind blown. I really hate to compare them to anyone else, but for helping match people to the right style of music, the closest that I can come is imagine Black Sabbath, Soundgarden and Black Label Society all mashed together. To borrow a quote from a Beastie Boys song…This is the shit! The G.I. Joe with the Kung Fu Grip! I listen to a lot of new music and a lot of new bands. I mean a lot! Nothing that I’ve heard recently comes anywhere close to touching the greatness of this debut EP by The Watchers. The band is currently in the studio working on their first full length album and I for one can’t wait. I will absolutely wear out these 5 tracks listening to them in the meantime. And just like I called my friends and told them what a great album this is….I’m telling you the same thing now.  This is $4,95 that you will never regret spending. Buy The Watchers Sabbath Highway at   It’s a solid 10 out of 10!
