Review:

Fans of Hardcore Superstar, Black Veil Brides, Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx, Gemini Five and Reckless Love, have I got a new muse for you. ToxicRose, a new sleaze, glam metal band from Sweden are absolutely killing it on their new debut album, Total Tranquility. With a look similar to BVB, their sound comes in closer to Hardcore Superstar than anyone else that I can think of. Right away, it’s quite surprising to me that this is their debut album. It sounds much better than a band’s first album usually does. The band have a maturity to their sound that really makes this album really jam. This is band that sounds hungry and it really helps propel ToxicRose into the forefront of the new glam bands. Filled with great musical chops, interesting lyrics, and atmospheric overtones, the entire album is a great listen. I sincerely hope that some of the bands like Black Veil Brides, Escape The Fate and others will take these guys out on tour. If they get the exposure that they deserve and reach a wider and wider audience, the sky’s the limit for ToxicRose. My favorite tracks are World Of Confusion, Killing The Romance, We Own The Night and We All Fall Down. But really, you can’t go wrong with any of these songs. This is one of the best sleaze / glam bands that I’ve heard in quite some time. Go get this as soon as it’s released. ToxicRose have the signs of a legendary band in the making.
