Slayer Calls It Quits, World Tour Currently Planned Will Be There Last

Terrible news for Slayer fans today as the band have decided to retire after their upcoming world tour is completed.

In the beginning, when there were no blueprints, no set paths, no boundaries or steps to follow, SLAYER assaulted the world with its hybrid of metal and punk.

Slayer’s place in music history is secure as one of The Big Four (alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax): they helped define the thrash-metal genre. Slayer is one of the most influential bands in heavy metal history. Reign in Blood has been an influence to extreme and thrash metal bands ever since its release..

In support of their new upcoming album, Slayer will reportedly embark on a revamped version of the Clash of the Titans tour in 2018 or 2019 with  Testament, Megadeth and Sepultura.
