Roaring out of Italy, Lionville has grown in popularity since the band formed in 2009. Brain child of the multi talented Stefani Lionetti, the band now return with their third release, A World Of Fools.

Sounding like a glorious mix of Toto and Journey, the guys have created a record full of melodic hard rock songs sure to please fans of the genre. Once again it is the incredible voice of Lars Säfsund (Work Of Art) which truly brings the uplifting songs to life.Säfsund’s voice is perfectly suited to the material that this fabulous band have created, his soaring vocals delivering great hooks throughout.

Stand out songs on the album for me have to be I Will Wait with its wonderful lyrics, the catchy title track, as well as the great ballad Heaven Is Right Here (co-written by WOA’s Robert Sall)

Along with great songs and strong performances, A World Of Fools has a crystal clear production allowing the songs to really breathe. Their best album to date (great cover art too), let’s hope for some live dates soon!
