Brutal and glorious all at the same time, Aborted have released a new EP called “La Grande Mascarade”. If your favorite band is Bon Jovi, you won’t like this as it’s not for the faint-hearted.  But honestly, what does anyone listening to a band called Aborted expect?  I expected full-on metal brutality and I got it!  The bad news is it’s only three songs so it’s over so quick, you might be in a mid-headbang at the end and craving more.  The good news is that all three songs are crushingly good. The guttural vocals deliver the goods throughout and perfectly compliment the bruising music.  La Grande Mascarade is the musical equivalent of being picked up by a tornado and deposited softly on the ground after it’s all over.  The machine-gun drumming is off the hook and the guitarists deliver truly scorching elements while the bass pummels you with its weight and might. While the world has recently entered some truly dark times…Aborted’s New EP La Grande Mascarade Is The Perfect Soundtrack To The Apocalypse.
